Judging by the latest Press statement released by Nigerian army on Mazi Nnamdi, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) published by virtually all Nigeria Newspapers on 6/10/2017 that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has no means of livelihood in their analysis of his professional status, I am by this publication drawing the attention of IPOB legal Team led by the erudite member of silk Hon Ifeanyi Ejiofor to that publication which I have read on Punch Newspaper, Sun Newspaper, Vanguard Newspaper and Naij websites. I want Bar Ifeanyi Ejiofor led IPOB legal Team to understand that this latest statement from Nigerian army on Nnamdi Kanu occupational status simply implied that Nnamdi Kanu is undergoing an inhumane torture presently in Nigerian army custody. Nigerian army is indeed torturing him and getting these words from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu under duress because there is no how Nnamdi Kanu in his right frame of mind should say that he has no means of livelihood and still sustaining a residence in London, UK.

IPOB legal Team should by the information contained in the Nigeria Army press statement extract another exhibit that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has being passing through a severed torture in the custody of Nigerian army when Nigeria army will bring him to court come October 17th, 2017. However, it is important for the world to know that Nnamdi Kanu has being having fragile health condition which was the reason why Nigerian Federal High Court presided over by Justice Binta Nyako granted him bail to undergo treatment.

As Nigerian army must have being severely torturing him in their custody and getting information from him under duress as evidenced in press statement released by Nigerian army, should his fragile health condition worsen in Nigeria Army detention facility, let the world hold Nigerian government responsible for that.

However, Indigenous People of Biafra is still calling on Nigerian army to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to enable him have access to his medical teams and at same time prepare his frame of mind to make his next court appearance. There is no how Nigerian army will continue to hold Mazi Nnamdi Kanu incommunicado without access to treatment from September 14 till date. To be torturing him and getting these words from him under duress without the presence of his lawyers in the Army dungeon is the height of human right abuse against him and a mockery to the ongoing judicial process in the court.

It is important for the world to be witness that Nigerian army said on October 6, 2017 that Nnamdi Kanu has no means of livelihood as probably his confession during a severe torture in the military custody under duress, so that the army will not go back and deny same at the fullness of time. IPOB lawyers should add this press statement released by the army as another exhibit of human right abuse meted on Nnamdi Kanu when he was in Nigeria Army detention facility. I rest my case!
