Will [Nnia] Nwodo categorically asking for a Referendum gift us with one?

We err when we begin to think that Martin Luther King should have followed the same method as Macolm X in the American civil right activism.

Allow Nwodo to continue with his struggle while Nnamdi Kanu continues with his. In the end, if we get Nwodo's restructuring, that will be partial Biafra which will make our job half done and motivate us to finish the rest. If we get Nnamdi Kanu's own, that will be the best.

Now let me quickly break down Nwodo's struggle: Under a genuinely restructured Nigeria in line with regionalism or even true federalism  we will have both the political and  economic freedom to determine our fate. Matters of security will be the exclusive preserve of the regions or states.

With this arrangement, the centre will be weak with a stronger federating units and any state wishing to walk out will find it a longer easier.

Northerners know this and that is why they are opposing that kind of genuine Restructuring but now that there is a Southern consensus, if they reject it, it will be them against southern leaders rather than just Igbo leaders as we witnessed during the Biafran war.

By the way, restructuring, in this context, is  the re-arrangement of the political and economic structure of a country.

I will suggest the Restructuring group should keep doing their thing while we keep doing our thing.

This is a marathon race.

Already, we've achieved the psychological Biafra, all thanks to Nnamdi Kanu. E remain the geographical one.

Let us not unnecessarily antagonize and alienate more of our people than we already have.

Even those not in support of our agitation still have their uses as long as they are promoting Igbo cause one way or another.
