STILL ON THE ISSUE OF CHARLES IBEKWE AND OTHER EFULEFUS LIKE HIM

Biafra: When Our Success Becomes Their Envy

By Greatson Chinaka

Let me first congratulate a certain Charles Ibekwe for making some of us IPOB sympathizers glorify him via attempting a response to his most unsophisticated hogwash published on some online news sites recently as an article.

The moronic view captioned“IPOB: A Delusion Taken Too Far” was his own inane way of protesting against the decision of IPOB to pull out of the Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Buratai’s Comedy of Error script termed “Special Board of Enquiry” into the several killings of unarmed brothers, sisters and parents of Ibekwe these years by his pay masters.

As a gofer of the Nigerian army, it was the hungry writer’s Judaic manuscript of justifying the alerts of blood money daily dropping into his accounts as special media consultant to that “kangaroo panel” set up by his parents’ slaughterers. The article is his own way of making ends meet, as such he must turn truth upside down while throwing tantrums to all corners with high head that he is gaining attention by abusing IPOB and its stance on the subject matter.

Although he tried very hard to justify the money spent on him by his now regretting parents who sent him to school, needless to say that understanding his dictionary aided and sententious disconnections was never that easy, but for the super steps and ingenuity of our communication units. I will advise Ibekwe to go take further courses on communication science.

On the main issue at hand, IPOB as a body of Biafrans run by intelligent men and women under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is here reiterating its earlier position never to be part of that gathering of comic actors, and our position is very clear from the onset, which is that you cannot be a judge over your own case or in your own court.

For the records, the action of the Nigerian Army in setting up that useless Panel of Inquiry was after the widely-published report by the Amnesty International (AI) released on 26th of November, 2016 on the gruesome and odious massacre of over 1, 000 IPOB members across different parts the country, especially in the South–South/South–East regions of Nigeria within the last one year.

This report was well-detailed and damning with an assemblage of hardcore inculpatory and over-powering evidence on the most callous and blood-chilling butchery of IPOB members by Nigerian state actors.

“The report graphically painted a gory picture of the large –scale impunity and unprecedented high-handedness of the security forces in repressing the unarmed pro-Biafrian groups. Indeed, the report in its entirety is a classic study in ethnic –cleansing, pervasive culture of impunity, genocide and state –sponsored terrorism against a hapless and unarmed lot merely seeking to exercise their globally –recognized imperishable human rights to self-determination. This report has sparked global outrage against the Government of Nigeria and its brutal Army”, IPOB had earlier noted.

We recall the floating of 21 bodies in Ezu River in Anambra State for two months without anyone identifying them up till today. Claims that they were MASSOB members hacked down by combined Police and Army personnel remain uninvestigated.

In Aba, IPOB members were gunned down by soldiers for just gathering to hold a prayer meeting in a school playing field. The videos went viral on the social media and the world saw these things.

In Port-Harcourt, IPOB members were gunned down by soldiers in broad day light just for holding a support rally for American President Donald Trump, the same way the almajiris of the North stage protest against anything happening elsewhere in the world that they consider offensive to Islam. Ibekwe did not tell us our offence in aligning with Trump because he is blind to his paymaster’s recent allegiance to Iran.

Ibekwe, if truly of Igbo blood and writing from his heart of hearts did not in his misguided write-up deny the fact that the reports from Amnesty was not substantial as there were both graphic and documented evidences. This is even as this writer wishes him and his generations such deaths they meted out on innocent Biafrans. Ibekwe, if truly of Igbo blood did not deny the fact that unarmed IPOB members are daily being shot and killed in their hundreds by his blood-sucking zombies in khaki for no just cause other than that they are exercising their fundamental human rights. Who has ever failed an examination set for oneself? Ibekwe wants Biafrans to appear in judgement with people who even outside the law, had already found them guilty and condemned. How do we expect a fair hearing from these class of people?

It is obviously the writer lacks ideas to market his junk and yoyo writing job as he aimlessly went about conjuring hates on “fake news” leaning of Biafra. What is fake about his paymasters denying us peaceful and fair existence in this contraption of a country called Nigeria? What is fake about the American President assuring that no more would the blood of Christians be wasted unfairly in any part of the world? Have Ibekwe’s Hausa-Fulani oligarchs not been destroying us and shedding our bloods? What is fake about Biafrans publishing their news and unmasking the wickedness of these evil tribe? What is fake about the Nigeria army spending millions of Naira on his likes and others just to ensure that they discredit the Amnesty International (AI) and the IPOB? It’s obvious the days he invested trying to carve that trash of article were wasted days.

The move to set up his blood-infested panel was not “well-intentioned” as claimed. IPOB as a responsible group will make itself available when such well-intentioned panel comes up as we are not afraid of appearing before a competent one. IPOB is merely asking for the freedom and rights of the people of Biafra to have their separate country where their lives would be respected and protected as human beings. what is wrong with this natural request? That the South-East governors have agreed to wade in or wade out of our leader’s illegal incarceration is not of importance to IPOB as they are simply doing what they are supposed to do as political leaders, but that does not change our position.

He that goes to equity must go with clean hands. Is it not ironic that Ibekwe who via his article has shown serious disdain, insults and disrespect to the sensibility of his kinsmen by denying that none was murdered by the Nigerian army, is here preaching to responsible IPOB members of disdain for constituted authorities?

Even the President General of Igbo apex organization, Ohanaeze, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, picked holes in the Buratai’s inquiry panel by notifying the Chief of Army Staff that he cannot be a judge in his own court as the inquiry cannot stand the test of objectivity. Ohanaeze as a body has rejected the panel. Ibekwe, can’t you see that your kangaroo panel has died on arrival as MASSOB, AI, Ndigbo and IPOB have all rejected it?

Though, I am not officially speaking for IPOB, but clear views are here that IPOB is not opposed to Buratai carrying out an internal investigation in his service but the findings of such an investigation will neither be acceptable to IPOB nor stand the test of objectivity until it is subjected to an impartial and international body.

Ibekwe must know that IPOB has gone beyond destruction by mere table-writer. Our agitation is no more of man, but of God himself. Those who tried to stop the flow of nature were either buried by the moving mud or thrown away by supernatural force. No amount of propaganda or image tarnishing of IPOB can stop us now. The revolution is like a moving train that cannot be stopped anyhow. Kill IPOB members in their hundreds and see them increase in thousands.

A million Ibekwe writers can never deter us. The vision can neither be halted by lies nor guns! Our success has always been your envy. It’s Biafra or death.
